This pouch was the first piece I made in this series.
It has a calm and slightly understated atmosphere.
The fabric originally came from a summer culotte.
It was a very beautiful garment, but unfortunately I could not adjust the size properly and ended up not being able to wear it.
The hem had a wide flared shape, and with the sewing methods I know, I couldn’t alter it without losing the softness of the fabric.
So I decided to give the textile a new life instead.
The color is a gentle green, similar to matcha, with a subtle stripe pattern.
To add a little brightness, I decorated it with gold beads.
As an accent, I also added a few vivid red beads.
If you look closely, you will notice that among the many gold beads, only a few small red beads are mixed in.
Together they create a tiny shape that almost looks like flowers with golden leaves.
The result is a pouch with a calm tone and a small playful detail.
Although it cannot be held in your hands before purchasing, I hope the photos can convey its texture and feeling.
If it speaks to you, I would be very happy for it to find a place with you.
