The other day, I shared a livestream that I filmed from a slightly different place than usual.
The title said, “It’s minus 17 degrees outside.”
It was early in the morning when I was on a ski trip in Sweden.
I woke up while it was still dark and started streaming in the freezing cold.
I really wanted to show how the scenery slowly became brighter.
But sadly, my battery died while it was still pitch dark 💦
I wish I could have shown you the snow-covered trees,
the fir trees that looked like Christmas trees,
and the sparkling scenery in the freezing air through the window…

Snow-covered pinecones are so beautiful.
The trip itself was amazing, and I really want to go again someday.
But traveling definitely takes a lot of energy.
I slept well on the day I came back,
but the next day, I couldn’t sleep at all and felt tired all day.
Then, the following morning, I got stomach flu.
That’s when I realized how exhaustion shows up later.
In Sweden, it was around minus 17 degrees.
So I thought,
“After this, Copenhagen will feel warm.”
But in reality, it was frozen here too.
I traveled from Sweden to Norway,
then stayed overnight on a ferry from Oslo,
passing through many cold countries.
And yet, when I finally got home,
for the first time, in the parking lot of our apartment,
my car tires spun in the snow and wouldn’t move forward.
My husband and I ended up laughing about it.
The level of cold was on another dimension.
Nordic countries are really amazing.
It’s not about waves.
It’s about serious cold.
That was my journey.
After writing this, I watched a YouTube video about staying at an inn surrounded by snow in Aomori.
And I thought,
“That snow was even more serious than in Northern Europe.”
The world is wide.
