Every year, little by little, shipping costs continue to rise.
This year was no exception, and there have been changes again.
Until now, I had been using a tracked shipping method.
Although the price increased slightly, I believed it was still manageable and that I could continue using it as before.
However, starting this year, the registered mail option that had previously been available is no longer possible.
As a result, only parcel shipping is allowed, which has significantly increased the burden on my side.
This change comes from differences in classifications and systems between the Japanese post office and PostNord in Denmark.
From the perspective of an individual sender, it is quite a difficult situation.
Not long ago, I visited Enigma, the postal museum, and learned about the role and history of postal services.
I was left with a very positive impression, which makes this recent change feel especially disappointing.
As for the future, the shipping fees I inform customers about have not been changed for now.
However, since my own costs have increased compared to before, adjustments may become necessary depending on the situation.
If that happens, I will make sure to inform everyone properly.
To those who placed orders in January:
Among the January orders, four packages were returned to me due to postal issues.
Because they are already marked as “shipped,” I am sorry if this caused any confusion.
Those affected will likely recognize the situation themselves.
These were orders placed around the time of the previous new release.
I will resend the packages tomorrow.
I sincerely apologize for the delay.
Going forward, I will continue to communicate the situation as clearly as possible
and handle each order with care.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
